eMerge Africa Arabic: Open Educational Practices Webinar – 4pm Sept 13

Estimated reading time: 0 minutes, 41 seconds

I’m giving a webinar today at 4pm via eMerge Africa in Arabic – Open Educational Practices (and their potential for the Arab world). It was an interesting reflective process to translate definitions of open education written by others… and to think about how I would modify my approach for an Arab audience. The slides are bilingual or English as I was not required to translate the entire thing… but I’ll hopefully be speaking mostly in Arabic. These slides are adapted from slides I used in a two-hour workshop at UCT which are in turn adapted from a session I gave with Robin DeRosa in Cairo at the AMICAL conference.

Registration is at http://emergeafrica.net/webinar

My slides are at http://bit.ly/مفتوح (and also embedded below)
