And as we’ve discussed, Maha, for me this thread has exposed problems of how to engage in conversation on an important topic (in this case the qual/quant conversation) when you come from the “privileged” position and the majority of the thread is coming from the “unprivileged” place. Obviously, at some point the two “sides” must engage or else what’s the point of conversation and where’s the hope of change. But if it is done too soon, the presence of privilege can be oppressive (?) Maybe? I don’t know. That’s my question for the group.
