Lots of interesting thoughts here, and I want to take up the challenge of Digital Writing Month, too; but because I have the attention span of a 5 year-old, I’m first going to respond to a question the last part of your post provoked (and which ties into a discussion we had a few weeks ago that touched on Greek & Egyptian myth): what is the relationship between ancient and modern Egypt for most modern Egyptians?
