I wonder if giving a “like” is fleeting, though. How many of us hit “like” and then come back later to go deeper with the text or media or thinking? I often think, I’ll come back, and then often don’t. I suspect young people are even less apt, as the “like” is more about social status than content understanding and engagement in ideas. Or am I being grumpy?
