Hey Tanya, yes, it will most likely be like that (text in written Arabic, spoken in colloquial, though some ppl won’t understand each others’ colloquial). Thanks for coming back to this post – it generated fb discussion rather than here at the time, and was re-published in edited form in a magazine of Arab higher ed… So most of the discussion on it has been scattered 🙂 nice to have more discussion on it right here 🙂
