Speaking Today: Negotiating Equitable Systems for Open Ed (Dec 5) at #OASymp2019

Today is my third invited session at a conference in South Africa this year. It is particularly gratifying and humbling to speak to fellow African audiences, because my messaging is quite different from the rest of my scholarship, and it’s grounding to sort of think about how to be useful, how to tell stories that will make sense and ask questions that are relevant, etc. It helps a lot that I was onsite for my first keynote in South Africa this August, but for this one, part of Sparc Open Africa symposium, unfortunately, I cannot be onsite… but I am grateful they gave me the online option.

I’ll post the livestream link as soon as I have it inshallah
