There’s a Soul That Comes With This Body

Reading Time: 1

There’s a soul that comes with this body

And nurturing it won’t cost a thing

There’s a soul that comes with this body

And it wants to be free with no strings

If you cherish this body as fragile

You may crush the soul along the way

If you focus on what you can see

You may kill what you can’t feel

There’s a soul that comes with this body

And it’s stronger than you would believe

There’s a soul that comes with this body

And it lives on because you can’t reach

There’s a soul that comes with this body

And it thrives so long as it’s alive

There’s a soul that comes with this body

And when this body’s gone

That soul will survive

  1. Oh Maha I need to read this over and over. For now please know that your words stopped me in my tracks. Thank you.

  2. Love these lines:
“There’s a soul that comes with this body
And it’s stronger than you would believe”

Our vulnerability allows us to see things and our by our strength we can speak them.
