I’m continuing to tinker with FedWiki, mostly because of Mike Caulfield’s promotion of it, which I find quite convincing. The platform continues to perplex me though and I don’t think there’s a large enough user base for it to really do what it’s intended to do.

I think it’s at a pretty early stage of development and could go anywhere. Somehow, I think the uber-geekiness of it is lost on developers and promoters alike.

Thanks for “discoverable but not obvious”. This sounds quite reasonable to me. FedWiki’s claim to shepherd consensus rather than impose it also sounds reasonable – though I expect it’s something of an oversimplification.
