Hi Mark,
I don’t know what your experience of fedwiki is but mine was that the trail of breadcrumbs was very confusing and if I ever tried to identify the ‘source’ of a page, I usually got it wrong. This made for some very interesting cooperative writing experiences and it seems that this vagueness is part of fedwiki culture http://forage.ward.fed.wiki.org/view/identity-and-provenance-talk-page/jon.sf.fedwikihappening.net/discoverable-but-not-obvious/journal.hapgood.net/discoverable-but-not-obvious
BUT – the feminist in me who has observed various shenanigans on wikipedia isn’t convinced. My concerns chime with what Maha says in 3 above. I think fedwiki equality is going to need healthy scepticism and hard work at the very least.
