The report from http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2014/07/08/massiveteaching-mystery-captivates-confuses#sthash.RjqArEtS.dpbs suggests attempts to contact Paul at the university are being intercepted. “An interview request sent to Dehaye was instead answered by Ulrich Straumann, professor of experimental physics and dean of studies at Zurich.”

Before the silencing Paul promised to come back to the course and explain it all. He called for a sociology dept to help with the “debriefing.”

While I am not a fan of how Paul conducted his MOOC, I think blaming the current silence on him as if it’s his choice may be inaccurate.
