I certainly recognise the mixed engagement you identify Maha and I know that I am one of those Slack connected V connecting people who has not really taken to connecting in this way. I see the same happening in the Open Ed Sig too where a small core of people regularly contribute and others are on the sidelines. The thing about open communities is there are no set expectations, you do what you can, when you can and hopefully you understand that what you do is appreciated by others, even if you have very little time. Some of us are naturally more withdrawn and circumspect and it is important that those who are more forthcoming don’t smother the more subtle signals the quieter folk transmit.
