Hey Aaron, thanks for this. I hear you on the straightness. I think anyone who is a minority in some form or another will have a diff perspective. The only thing is that sexuality (and eg religion unless ur name gives u away) is not necessarily as obvious to the observer, so the oppression is slightly different. Eg here in Egypt Christian minorities sometimes have names that don’t clearly identify them as Christian. Some have a tattoo of a cross on their inner wrist. You can see how those differences would affect the way they’d get treated by a bigoted person…
